Doug Bedsaul holds a sixth degree black belt in Akayama Ryu Jujutsu, a fourth degree black belt in Judo, and a fourth degree black belt in Taekwondo. Doug is a certified personal fitness trainer, USA Judo International Coach, and the Chief Instructor for Downtown Martial Arts. He is an active competitor and coach, and advocates self defense training for all. He recently completed the IJF Academy's UCJI course in Hungary. Doug also works at Mississippi State University.

Todd Pharr is a professor of immunology in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University. He is a third degree black belt in Taekwondo, and has been training since 1996. Todd assists with the Taekwondo program.

Abbi Crump assists with the Dragons program. She has been training since 2011, and is a Taekwondo second degree black belt and Judo black belt. Abbi has won several national judo titles, and is also successful in regional taekwondo competitions.

Cheryl Chambers is an instructor in the MSU Department of Communication, and is Director of The Speaking Center. Training since 2009, she is a brown belt. Cheryl leads our Grasshoppers and Tigers programs.

Karl Grebner has trained with us since 2010 and is now a black belt in judo and Akayama Ryu Jujutsu. Among other accomplishments, he is also an Eagle Scout.

Kai Caillouet is a sophomore at Mississippi State University, majoring in Biochemistry with a Forensic Science concentration. She is a black belt in Taekwondo and has been training since 2012. She assists with the Grasshoppers and Tigers programs.

Maria Keith is a senior in high school. She has been training since 2017. She is a brown belt in Taekwondo and a green belt in Judo. Maria assists with the Grasshoppers and Tigers programs.

Ethan Jackson has been training since 2016 and is now a brown belt. He assists with the Dragons program.

Timothy Anthony has been training since 2015 and is now a brown belt. He assists with our Dragons program.

Dana Watkins is a senior at Mississippi State University, majoring in Industrial Engineering. She has been training for over 10 years. She is a third degree black belt in Taekwondo and a brown belt in Judo. She assists in the Tigers and Dragons programs.
